Howard City man injured after running stop sign

DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One man was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after running a stop sign in Mecosta County

Saturday morning, Deputies from Mecosta County Sheriff Office was dispatched to a two-car personal injury accident at the intersection 5 Mile Rd and 155th ave.

A 68-year-old man from Lakeview was traveling west on 5 Mile rd when a 82-year-old man from Howard City disregarded the stop sign and pulled in front of his vehicle.

The 82-year-old man was transported to the hospital by EMS for non life threatening injuries.
