BIG RAPIDS, Mich. — A 14-year-old girl from rural Grant Township is being held pending a charge of attempted first degree murder.
The teen is accused of stabbing a 14-year-old girl from Big Rapids Township, says the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim was flown to a Grand Rapids hospital with mulitple life-threatening stab wounds.
The arrest was made Saturday, May 30, but the sheriff’s office has not released a possible motive.
The stabbing occurred on Grand Township property owned by the suspect’s family.
