BRANCH TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man was seriously injured in a crash Tuesday after losing control of his vehicle and being hit by a semi.
The crash happened around 11:44 a.m. on US-10 west of Campbell Road in Branch Township, about 18 miles east of Ludington.
Authorities said a driver lost control going west on US-10 and spun out and was hit by a westbound semi-truck.
The driver of the car, a 35-year-old Fountain man, was taken to the hospital in serious condition. An adult and child who were also in the car weren’t hurt in the crash.
