LANSING, Mich. — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer says she plans to announce Thursday if schools will reopen.
"I will be making an announcement on Thursday," Governor Whitmer said in an interview with our Detroit affiliate, Fox 2. "It's an incredibly complicated problem to solve."
Earlier this month when Whitmer announced that schools would be closed until at least April 13th.
Friday, however, Whitmer said that it is"very unlikely" that schools will return this year.
