LANSING, Mich. — One Christmas tradition is not being canceled by the coronavirus pandemic, that's according to Governor Whitmer.
On Wednesday she shared a video call she held with Santa Claus, assuring kids in Michigan that Saint Nick will be visiting kids on Christmas Eve.
"We know this holiday will look different in many ways, but Michigan’s children can be assured that Santa Claus will continue his yearly tradition of visiting millions of children around the world,” said Governor Whitmer.
Santa encouraged kids to wear their masks, and follow social distancing guidelines.
