ANN ARBOR, Mich. — A marijuana distribution company has finished construction of a new manufacturing facility to keep up with rising demand in Michigan.

C3 Industries, an Ann Arbor-based company, finished building the indoor facility and is expected to reach full production capacity in the coming months.

The 36,000-square-foot building is in Webberville. The company says it will produce a large quantity of cannabis products for both the medical and recreational marijuana markets.

C3 says it will invest over $20 million in Michigan's marijuana industry and is expecting to employ nearly 300 people once the new facility is operating at full capacity.
