HARRISON, Mich. — A 36-year-old Harrison man has been arrested after trying to run away from authorities, who detained him for driving while intoxicated.
At 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, a Michigan State Police trooper pulled a vehicle over near Margaret and Ruby Streets in Hamilton Township, which is by Canada Lake and Dodge City Campground.
The driver was found drunk with several open containers of alcohol in his vehicle. He had been operating under a suspended license as well.
While authorities conducted their investigation, the 36-year-old tried to run away but was quickly brought down.
The man is currently locked up at Clare County Jail pending arraignment.
