GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two women from Holland Township were injured after rear-ending a 24-year-old man driving a Ford Ranger.

This happened around 9:55 p.m. on Saturday July 25 on Lake Michigan Drive and 158th Avenue, near Botello Grocery convenience store.

According to authorities, the 24-year-old in the Ford Ranger was waiting for traffic to clear up so he could make a left turn onto 158th Avenue, when he was hit from behind by a 38-year-old woman driving a Chevy Equinox.

The 38-year-old woman and her 67-year-old female passenger were to an area health facility for head and neck pain, and three children who were not wearing seat belts were also taken in for evaluation with no visible injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
