HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A pedestrian was injured after getting hit by a car in Holland Township on Monday.
It happened about 1:30 p.m. at James Street east of Briarwood, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
A 31-year-old Holland woman was walking and tried crossing the roadway from north to south.
She walked into the path of a vehicle being driven by a 49-year-old woman, also from Holland.
The pedestrian told Ottawa County police she didn’t see the vehicle.
She was taken to Holland Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was not injured.
