HOLLAND, Mich. — A Saugatuck woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a chain-reaction crash Friday afternoon.
The 74 year-old was slowing for traffic on northbound US-31 near Lakewood Boulevard when her Mitsubishi was rear-ended by a Suburu driven by a 65 year-old Holland man. The collision pushed the Mitsubishi into the SUV in front of her, then into the median.
The woman was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Niether of the other drivers were injured.
