GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A university hockey team hopes you'll help them raise money to help fight cancer.

Grand Valley State University's Men's D3 team is once again partnering with the Van Andel Institute for their 5th annual Hockey Fights Cancer game. Together the two have raised more than $17,000 in the last 4 years, according to the team's Assistant Captain, PJ Rapin.

The team will take on Notre Dame University at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Griff's Georgetown, formerly known as the "Georgetown Ice Center" in Georgetown Township.

If you can't make it to the game, you can still donate online at the event's website.
