Three Ottawa County children injured in ORV crash

WEST OLIVE, Mich. — An Off-road vehicle driven by a 7-year-old girl and occupied by four other children crashed Tuesday afternoon, resulting in three of the children having to be transported to the hosptal.

Around 1:30 p.m., the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, along with rescue personnel, were dispatched to an injury accident involving a ORV in the yard at 11102 112th Ave in Robinson Twp.

The vehicle was being driven in the front yard of the residence when the driver lost control which caused it to overturn onto its side.

Two of the passengers were pinned underneath the vehicle until is was removed by an adult.

Three of the five passengers were transported to the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The other two passengers were checked on scene by medical personnel and released to their parents.
