JENISON, Mich. — A Sprint cell phone store in Jenison was robbed Monday afternoon, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said.

It happened at the store located at 420 Baldwin St. just before 3 p.m.

A police investigation showed that four to five men arrived and entered the store wearing masks.

They tried to gain access to the safe, but weren’t able to get in because of a time delay on the safe.

The men were able to steal an unknown amount of cash.

Two of the robbers showed handguns during the robbery.

All of them left in a gold SUV with no license plate and were last seen going eastbound on Baldwin toward the expressway.

There were no injuries during this incident.
