Holland Township crash sends 2 to hospital

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A crash involving 2 cars in Holland Township Saturday morning sent two people to the hospital.

The accident happened around 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of 104th Avenue and Chicago Drive.

A Hyundai SUV, driven by a 73-year-old Zeeland woman was heading westbound on Chicago Drive as an Audi A4, driven by a 47-year-old man, was heading southbound on 104th Ave.

The driver of the Hyundai claimed that she had a green light and was struck in the intersection by driver of the Audi A4.

Both drivers were transported to area hospitals. Their injury status is unknown at this time.

The accident remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
