HOLLAND, Mich. — The Holland Police continues to investigate an unarmed robbery that occurred Thursday night.

The robbery happened at the Check N Go, located at 1111 Washington Ave in Holland, at 6 p.m. Thursday.

The clerk reported that a mant entered the store just as the business was closing and demanded the clerk hand him over the money.

After the clerk handed over an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect ran out of the store fleeing on foot to the east.

Residents on Standish Court, east of the business, had witnessed a subject matching the suspects description running to the area and then fleeing in a burgundy sedan.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, thin build and average height, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a white t-shirt underneath, a black mask, sunglasses and grey pants.

No weapon was seen or implied and no one was injured during the incident. The case remains under investigation.
