ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Heavy rainfall is causing flooding across West Michigan, including homes which are already flooded.

Ottawa County has already issued a local State of Emergency due to rising water.

As of Monday morning, the Grand River in Robinson Township stands at 13 feet which means minor flooding is expected.

The Grand River is expected to reach minor flood stage in Ottawa County and could crest at more than 14 feet later this week, according to online data from the National Weather Service.

Neighborhoods surrounding the river are dealing with 6-12 inches of standing water including the Van Lopik Avenue.
