HOLLAND, Mich. — A 2-car crash in Holland Monday afternoon killed one man and two other people injured.

The accident happened just after 1 p.m. at the corner of 120th Ave. and Riley St.

A Volkswagon Jetta, driven by a 91-year-old Holland woman, was traveling north on 120th Ave. and tried to turn left onto Riley St.

The intersection has a traffic light, which the 91-year-old woman claims was yellow when she turned.

The Holland woman didn't see a Ford Edge, driven by a 30-year-old Holland woman, going through the intersection, causing a collision.

Both drivers and a 92-year-old Holland man riding in the Jetta were injured

The 92-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was sent to Holland Hospital, where he later passed away.

The 91-year-old female driver suffered minor injuries and was also sent to Holland Hospital.

The driver of the Edge suffered minor injuries, but was not sent to the hospital.

This crash remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
