CROCKERY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two people were injured in a Wednesday morning crash in Ottawa County.

It happened about 7 a.m. at I-96 east of Cleveland Street in Crockery Township, a news release said.

A Toyota Tundra pickup truck driven by a 36-year-old Allendale man was going westbound on I-96 near Cleveland Street.

The driver hit black ice on the overpass, lost control, went into the median rolling several times and came to rest on the shoulder of the eastbound lanes.

Both the driver and the passenger in the vehicle were taken to North Ottawa Community Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
