2 injured in 1-car rollover crash in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN TWP., Mich. — A Ottawa County rollover crash involving a single vehicle injured two people Sunday evening.

The crash occurred just after 5 p.m, on Port Sheldon Street near Center Industrial Drive

A 30-year-old Grand Rapids man was driving eastbound on Port Sheldon Street when he lost control of his car, crossing into the opposing lanes before rolling over onto the side of the roadway.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

His 21-year-old female passenger from Wyoming sustained injuries from the crash.

She was transported to Metro Hospital via Life EMS ambulance. Her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

There may have been a road rage incident with another vehicle prior to the crash, according to officers.

This crash remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
