TALLMADGE TWP., Mich. — A 23-year-old man was injured in a rollover crash early Sunday morning.
The crash happened around 4:45 a.m. in the area of Leonard Street NW and 8th Avenue.
Ottawa County dispatch received a call of a man yelling in the road way in the area around that time.
Deputies sent to the scene found a car on it's top, with an injured man laying nearby.
The man's yelling is what alerted a neighbor to call police.
The man, 23, was driving West on Leonard when he ran off the south side of the road before striking a mailbox, a utility box, a cement wall and a tree, causing the car to roll over on its top.
The driver was able to get himself out of the car.
He was injured and was transported to the hospital.
His injuries are not considered life threatening.
