MUSKEGON, Mich. — The Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office has charged a Grand Rapids man in connection with child sexually abusive activity, officials announced Wednesday.

Police say Chad Derry, 42, used social media to contact young girls and influence them to participate child sexually abusive activity in both photos and videos.

Derry is charged with aggravated manufacturing of child sexually abusive activity, being a sexually deviant individual and using a computer to commit a crime, Muskegon County official said.

He is being held at the Muskegon County Jail.

Though law enforcement has identified several victims, officials are asking for the public’s help identifying any additional victims, many of which appear to be from the West Michigan area.

Derry’s Instagram handle was “kmarie13131312.”

Anyone who believes their child interacted with this account or has any other information may contact Detective Kyle Neher at the Norton Shores Police Department at 231-733-2691.
