Celebration of life planned for Hunter Klompstra

COOPERSVILLE, Mich. — A celebration of life is planned this weekend for a young man who went missing on New Year's day and was found dead over the weekend in the Grand River.

18-year-old Hunter Klompstra, of Marne, was a graduate at Coopersville High School and worked at Gull Lake Marina in Coopersville.

According to his online obituary, Hunter enjoyed spending time with his friends, and working on his truck.

His family is planning a celebration of life this Saturday from 3-6 p.m. at the Coopersville VFW on 68th Avenue.
