KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Officers were sent to the 1000-block of N. Rose St. for a report of a robbery around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night.
The victim gave Kalamazoo Public Safety officers a description of the suspect.
Authorities then began a search with the help of a K9.
The suspect was found several houses down while trying to hide evidence of the robbery.
They were taken into custody without a struggle, and the victim's stolen property was recovered.
No one was injured during the robbery, and the suspect, a 42-year-old Kalamazoo resident, is being lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail for unarmed robbery.
