KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Police in Kalamazoo have released surveillance images after shots were fired in broad daylight Monday at a gas station.
It happened around 4 p.m. at the Shell gas station at the intersection of W Michigan Avenue and North Westnedge Avenue Monday.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says it believes two groups of people met up and got in one car when a fight began.
Two of the members of the groups pulled out guns and began firing at one another.
The male suspects and an unidentified woman left the area in their and police found money scattered around the parking lot.
Police say since this shooting happened in a business parking lot while the business was open it put many people's lives at risk who were nearby.
Video from the gas station captured the entire scene.
