KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A an is facing multiple felony charges after police say he shot a woman early Saturday morning.
It happened around 2 a.m. in the 900 block of N Westnedge Avenue, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
Police say a 20-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound and hospitalized. During their investigation, a suspect was identified and arrested nearby and the police say the firearm was recovered.
The suspect, a 24-year-old Kalamazoo man is now behind bars facing multiple felony weapon charges.
