KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 26-year-old man was shot in the abdomen Thursday evening in Kalamazoo Township, police said Friday.
The shooting happened about 6:20 p.m. in the 500 block of Lum Avenue, according to a news release.
Officers found the man with an apparent gunshot wound and administered first aid.
The man was taken to Borgess Hospital with what is believed to be a survivable wound.
The Township of Kalamazoo Police Department and area agencies are still looking for the shooter at-large.
