KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A man is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle yesterday morning in Kalamazoo.
Kalamazoo Public Safety Officials say the incident happened about 7:25 a.m. Thursday around East Walnut Street and Jasper Street.
The driver fled the scene by the time officers arrived.
The pedestrian, a 74-year-old Kalamazoo resident, was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Police describe the suspect vehicle as a white four-door Chrysler sedan with a mismatched front dark-colored bumper. It’s expected to have front-end damage.
