KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Several shots were fired at a house from a car early Monday afternoon, says the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety. No one was hit, no one was hurt.
The incident took place in the 900 block of Jackson Street east of Portage Street around 12:27 p.m. Monday, witnesses described the vehicle, and images were obtained from security cameras at a nearby business.
The car believed to have been involved appears to be a gray 2004 to 2008 model year Chevrolet Malibu.
Later in the day, an officer in the area of Stockbridge Avenue and Burdick Street heard several gunshots. Witnesses told officers the shots were fired around the intersection of Alcott and Burdick streets.
It is unknown if the two shooting incidents are related.
