KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Derricka Lewis is described as having special needs and was reported missing by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
Later Friday, she was reported safe with family.
Lewis, 16, is believed to have walked away from her family in the 1900 block of the E. Kilgore Service Road near Portage Road, and police were called around 3:20 a.m. Friday.
