KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries is raising money to build a new facility.
The nonprofit is about $2 million from their goal, which will finance a project to demolish its current building on Burdick Street and replace it with a new facility for women and children.
It will provide services like substance abuse recovery, housing assistance and career development to help families become more independent.
The organization says its current building is “timeworn” and not up to code.
Donations can be made to the project on the organization’s website.
