KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo police were dispatched following reports concerning a gunshot victim Sunday night.
Officers arrived in the area of South Westnedge Avenue and Howard Street where they found the victim inside a vehicle, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
Police say the 23-year-old resident from Kalamazoo had sustained an apparent gunshot wound.
We’re told the victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening and that the victim was taken to a local hospital.
The incident is under investigation.
