Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for an infant out of Kalamazoo County.
Gage Jacob Sans was last seen near the intersection of Bonnie and Circle drives, near Shaver Road in Schoolcraft Township.
Deputies say the 1-year-old was abducted by his father, 37-year-old Joseph Sans, after he assaulted the child's mother.
Sans allegedly threatened to hurt the child and others, and may be armed with knives, authorities said.
The vehicle used in the abduction has been found, but Sans and the child are still missing.
