KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 28-year-old Kalamazoo resident is behind bars this morning after he reportedly assaulted a woman with a handgun.
On Friday, August 21, a woman told authorities that a man had pointed a firearm at her, giving a detailed description of the 28-year-old male suspect.
Investigators eventually found the suspect in the 800 block of Woodbury Avenue, who then fled into a nearby residence. The suspect was arrested on several felony weapon charges after a stolen gun was found in the home.
