KALAMAZOO, Mich. — One person driving a motorcycle was seriously injured Monday night in Kalamazoo after getting hit by a car.
The crash happened about 9 p.m. in the area of South Westnedge Ave. And Whites Road, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said.
The motorcycle driver, a 19-year-old Kalamazoo resident, was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in critical condition.
One of the five occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was released after being treated on scene.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, but speed does, witnesses told police.
