KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is investigating after a man was reportedly shot on Christmas Eve in Kalamazoo.
It happened early Thursday morning in the area of S Orient Street and Park Avenue, according to police.
The victim told police he was robbed on Drake Road prior to the shooting, but could not provide an exact location or description of the suspect. Police tell FOX 17 they did not take any calls for gun shots during this time.
KDPS says the man was hospitalized with an apparent gunshot wound and is expected to survive.
