BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The local fire department fought a heavily involved house fire at 75 Frisbie Ave. around 3:02 a.m. on Saturday morning.
By the time crews arrived, the fire had extended to both a nearby house and a vehicle in the driveway.
A rescue team knocked down the flames on the east side and found the homeowner behind a shed.
He was uninjured, but was still sent to Life Care Medics to be checked out.
According to the Battle Creek Fire Department, a crew is still on the scene trying to figure out how the fire started while overhauling for hot spots.
