PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 66-year-old Pennfield Township woman is in custody after she fired a gun at her husband on Saturday night around 9:30 p.m., according to the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office.

It happened at a home on McAllister Rd. when a husband and wife started arguing about some sort of issue with their television.

The wife grabbed a gun and fired a round at the husband, which started a fight to take possession of the weapon.

During the struggle, several more shots were fired.

Thanks to Calhoun County Sheriff's deputies, the gun was secured and no one was injured.

The female suspect is being held at the Calhoun County Jail for aggravated domestic assault.
