ALBION TOWNSHIP — Michigan State Police say a suspect from Jackson is facing attempted murder charges after a shooting in Calhoun County earlier this month.
It happened on Jan. 5, after police say a gunshot victim was found unresponsive in the roadway located on D. Avenue Drive South in Albion Township.
The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
The suspect's identity is being withheld pending arraignment. Police also say the suspect is also being held on unrelated drug charges.
