SPRINGFIELD, Mich. — Deputies from the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office, along with Michigan State Police, are conducting an arson investigation in Springfield.
The fire that sparked this investigation started just before 9 p.m. on Halloween Night, at a home in the first block of N 24th Court.
An investigation showed that someone threw a homemade bomb through a bedroom window into the home.
The residents in the home were able to escape the house and call 911.
