SPRINGFIELD, Mich. — One man has died due to injuries sustained in a two vehicle crash that occurred in the intersection of Helmer Road and Goguac Street.
Monday afternoon around 3 p.m., deputies with the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the personal injury crash, where a 46-year-old Bedford man attempted to turn south from Goguac Street onto Helmer Road.
The man turned into the path of a northbound vehicle, resulting in the crash.
The Bedford man was transported to Bronson Battle Creek, where he later died from his injuries. The occupants of the other vehicle were treated for minor injuries.
The accident is being investigated by the Calhoun County Accident Reconstruction Team.
