KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A suspect is facing multiple charges after police tracked them down following an assault with a firearm.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says it happened in the 2500 block of Saint Albans Way around 11 p.m. Thursday.
The victim told police they had been battered and had a gun pointed to their head by someone they knew.
Officers patrolling the area were able to track down the suspect. The suspect tried to run away but was tracked down and arrested and the weapon used in the alleged assault was also found.
A 25-year-old Kalamazoo resident was arrested and is now awaiting arraignment on multiple charges.
