KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A driver and their passenger had to be extricated from their car after a 2-car crash at the intersection of Portage Rd. and Kilgore Rd.
Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers were called to the area around 9 p.m. on Friday night, and found one of the vehicles stuck on its side.
All traffic was shut down at the intersection to allow for extrication, when officers used hydraulic equipment to cut open the roof of the car.
Both victims from that vehicle are expected to be ok, but there is no word on the condition of the other car's occupants.
