KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Two people were shot around 11:30 p.m. Friday night, and were later taken to the hospital for treatment.
Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers heard gunshots around Portage Rd and E. Stockbridge near the Rent-A-Center, then were called down the street where they found evidence of a shooting but no victims.
Moments later, two Kalamazoo residents, ages 17 and 27, arrived at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds.
Witnesses say the suspect left the scene in a "red smaller sized SUV."
