KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Two Kalamazoo residents were arrested after a concealed weapon and drugs were found in their car early Saturday morning.
It happened around 2:14 a.m. when Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers pulled over their vehicle on N. Park St.
Those officers noticed "open intoxicants" inside the vehicle, and when they searched further they found the firearm.
The 34-year-old driver was arrested for the "open intoxicants" and having a concealed weapon, while their 31-year-old passenger was arrested for having drugs.
Both were taken to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff Department Jail, while the Criminal Investigation Division investigates the incident.
