KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A Kalamazoo man was shot while sitting in his parked car on Clarence St. around 2:16 p.m. on Saturday.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers found the 18-year-old victim, then learned from witnesses that a back-seat occupant of a vehicle had shot at them multiple times with a handgun before driving off.
That suspect vehicle was seen heading north on Clarence St.
Then, around 4 p.m., officers found it on N Rose St.
The driver of the suspect vehicle was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants, however the suspected shooter has still not been found yet.
While the victim was taken to a local hospital, he is expected to be ok.
