Wyoming police asking for help identifying vehicle after home invasion

WYOMING, Mich. — The Wyoming Department of Public Safety is asking for the public’s help identifying a car used in a crime against an elderly couple.

A couple in their 90s reported that two men who identified themselves as “electric company workers” asked to come into the home to check their fuse box. The couple denied them entry but the men forced their way into the home an began walking room-to-room, looking for valuables, a news release said.

They’re described as white men about 25 to 30 years old, wearing masks.

The men left after the couple threatened to call police.

The incident happened July 11 and Wyoming police obtained photos of a possible suspect vehicle.
