GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The holidays are in full swing and what better way to celebrate than to give back to our senior community, especially during this unprecedented time where many face isolation.

Amber Kinnell, General Manager of Home Instead Grand Rapids South, joined Fox 17 live to share how the senior care facility is stepping up to provide gifts to the elderly with the "Be a Santa to a Senior" program.

Participants can visit one of the three locations, look for the program's Christmas tree filled with ornaments with seniors' names and wishes, then buy gifts and return it wrapped with the ornament attached.

You can find a "Be a Santa to a Senior" tree at any of the following places:

  • Home Instead Senior Care, 6151 28th Street SE, Suite 8, Grand Rapids, MI 49546
  • Kentwood Community Center, 355 48th Street SE, Kentwood, MI 49548
  • Philip Anthony Salon, 3655 Lake Eastbrook Blvd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546
