COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. — A server at a local Italian restaurant received a big surprise this week after opening a card left by a group of customers. Inside that card was a $1,000 tip.

According to Jenna Arcidiacono, owner of Amore Trattoria Italiana on Alpine Avenue, eight women came into the restaurant Tuesday night, leaving the card with their server on their way out.

"She wants to thank them and is in total shock," Arcidiacono said in a Facebook post. "She said she cried and won't sleep tonight. Thank you, whoever you are! Amazing!!!"

The card included plenty of well wishes and was signed by various people, though none of them included their full names.
