SPARTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — A man’s body has been recovered in rural Kent County, a day after police asked for the public’s help in finding the homicide victim.
Investigators believe the body of a Black man in his 60s likely was dropped in a ditch or tall grass on Aug. 20.
The body was found in Sparta Township, north of Grand Rapids. A suspect in the man’s death is in custody.
