GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — O'Toole's Public House closed suddenly on Saturday after learning that one of their employees tested positive for coronavirus.

They made the announcement on their Facebook page, which read in full:

"Today, we were informed that one of our team members (who has not worked since Tuesday, 6/23) tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result, we are closing O'Toole's immediately until further notice. We are not required to make this information public, but we want to be honest and open with our guests. We are confident that this is not a result from any lack of safety at O'Tooles, as we implemented all safety guidelines recommended by the state and CDC.

We are working on a re-opening plan and will provide any updates via social media once we have a plan in place.

As always, thank you for your continued support."
